Abstract

The press of the Cea-Tesa family was one of the oldest and most prestigious of Córdoba. This family of printers developed their work over three generations, becoming one of the most prominent presses in the Spanish Golden Age. Their presses printed and distributed 125 works of all kinds of subjects, from religion to history, medicine and poetry. Among the titles published included some as valuable as the Rimas of Antonio de Paredes and Varias Rimas of Miguel Colodrero Villalobos. The aim of this bibliographical study is to examine the sociological impact the family had all the works that coming out of the press of Cea-Tesa and contextualize their impact taking into account the editorial traditions of the city.
