La reescritura en los pliegos y cuadernillos religiosos novohispanos (siglo XVII)
abstract
There is a number of religious pages preserved from the 17th century from New Spain, dedicated to the devotions of Our Lady of Los Remedios, Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Rosary, St. Cayetano, St. Gertrudis and the Passion of Christ. The texts of the Virgin of Los Remedios and the Virgin of Guadalupe are constructed around specific shrines with appropriate language used in New Spain. However, the devotions of the Rosary, St. Cayetano, St. Gertrudis and the Passion of Christ seek to develop outreach strategies based on the reading and rewriting of printed books on these subjects as summary compilations. The circulation of texts, fragments and quotes from books, pages and manuscripts turns out to be the procedure of choice for constructing networks to disseminate information on religious subjects
