The communication between characters reflects cultural categories and values in Don Quixote. The cervantine knight adapts his words to his perception of reality; but Sancho Panza (and others) adapts things to his words. Consequently, communicative deceptions of Sancho and genuine speech of Don Quixote focuses different ways of relationship with the listener.
