abstract

In this work the derived Old-Russian verbs with the prefixes iz- and iz- of Slovo o Polku Igoreve are determined in their semantic and aspectual meaning. It will be shown that as a matter of fact the prefixes iz- and vy- are to be understood as two stilistic forms of a unique prefix iz-/vy-, whose four types of semantic value (only-spatial, spatial-resultative, temporal-resultative, only-resultative) conditionate not only the lexical meaning of its derived verbs but also the morphofunctional derivation of their aspectual pairs. The semantic and morphofunctional description of the verbs with iz-/vy- of Slovo will be shown in vocabulary articles.
