«Com tinta do meu sangue»
Redes e mobilidades através das cartas de um imigrante italiano
abstract
Seeks to reflect upon the shifting strategies and family reunification through the letters of the Italian immigrant Paul Rossato. Seeks to highlight the importance of these sources to grasp the complexity of the migration experience to Brazil and understand how they allow you to track the expectations and choices of actors before and after the migration experiences. The argument is that the overseas, immigrants, through the establishment of ‘ink bridges’, called the destination to the source, allowing, in the last decades of the nineteenth century, the movement of information, objects and people.
