«ora capisci perché sono tornata?»: L’Andromaca di Luiza Romão e gli esili della poesia
Abstract
This article analyses the (re)treatment of the figure of Andromache by the São Paulo poet Luiza Romão, highlighting its relationship with themes of exile and contemporary violence, in dialogue with the literary tradition, especially with Baudelaire’s Swan penetratingly translated by another important Brazilian poet, Ana Cristina Cesar. Here, we propose to follow the project of an “action of the poem” (Jean-Christophe Bailly), driven by the desire for a politics of the real, which is exercised on circulating discourses, moving history, awakening the forgotten and those archived as dead.
