A dança da vida nos versos de Ana Estaregui
Abstract
This article offers an analysis of Ana Estaregui’s work, Dança para cavalos (2023), in which the lyrical subject establishes dynamic relationships with nature that transcend empathy, creating non-anthropocentric connections and bonds with the world. To define that which is radically alien to us, Octavio Paz coined the term alterity, which broadens the concept of otherness. In the book in question, we can use this concept to describe the effort made by the lyrical subject, who, through a process of distancing themselves from their own self, allows other existences and identities within nature to occupy the space of the ‘self’.
