dc.description.abstract	This article deals with the interchange among Monteiro Lobato, Manuel Gálvez and Horacio Quiroga – in particular, exchanged correspondences and articles published in newspapers and magazines between 1918 and 1925, during the period Monteiro Lobato was at the head of the periodical Revista do Brasil and created his first publishing house, Monteiro Lobato & Cia. – with the aim of identifying some actions of these scholars aiming at boosting the circulation of translations of their own articles. The study also aims to highlight the efforts made towards greater integration among Latin American countries, through collections of literary works that they considered representative of their respective literatures.
