Minha senhora, tem um Mallarmé em casa? Angélica Freitas e o diálogo constelar com a tradição poética moderna
Abstract
This article examines Angélica Freitas’s poetry through historiographical and aesthetic dissonance, analysing her dialogue with Brazilian Modernism and the neo-avant-garde. Focusing on the ironic reappropriation of the canon in Rilke shake, notably «Rilke shake» and «estatuto de desmallarmento», it investigates how she ruptures the monumentalised reception of Mallarmé, Pound, and Rilke. Drawing on Haroldo de Campos’s concepts of corpus-repertoire and post-utopian poetry, the study argues that Freitas confronts formal rigour with humour and parody, turning ‘method’ into ‘play’ to disarm institutional authority and assert contemporaneity.
