La Fabula di Orfeo di Poliziano e la letteratura del Novecento
abstract
The essay reads Poliziano’s Fabula di Orfeo as an interpretative key of 20th century literature, using some recent re-readings of the myth (Rilke, Bufalino), but above all some important theories of the second part of the century (Barthes, Foucault). The themes of the crisis of language and the death of the author are perfectly represented in Poliziano's text. The Fabula di Orfeo is thus read as a classical myth, which offers the modern reader keys to the present.
Keywords: Renaissance • Poet • Death of the author
