Capitolo | Écritures de la fantasy dans la littérature sur Internet en Chine
Abstract
From the end of the 20th century, the Internet literature developed in China in a context of globalisation. In this study, we will propose to observe one of its novelties – fantasy writings. We will try to observe how, under the influence of translation, fantasy provokes the formation of the qihuan genre and then, how, by arrangement and recomposition, this genre is renewed and gives rise to the xuanhuan (oriental fantasy) genre and xianxia (immortal hero) genre. Finally, we will examine the reception of these genres in the Western context. We will discover that the web-literature, like any other literature, in its forces, « plays with the lines of demarcation », and « is renewed by foreign contributions to what participates in its very being » (Alain-Michel Boyer).
