Chapter | Acercamiento al léxico disponible de 173 estudiantes italianos preuniversitarios de Español como Lengua Extranjera
Abstract
The research we present in this paper is about lexical knowledge base. Taking into account the criteria used by the Panhispanic Project, we have created and applied a lexical availability test for students of Spanish as a Foreign Language. In particular, we work with Italian students, a group that has a related language as mother tongue. In this study, we show the methodological criteria we used; we also underline the differences between our research and the Panhispanic Project. Finally, we present some quantitative and qualitative results, which illustrate the usefulness of studies such as this.
