Am. 3.12 enables us to highlight the innumerable relationships among the Propertian memories present in the poem and to find the analogies that clarify the complex allusive mechanism contained in the text; the intent is also to demonstrate the importance of this elegy in the context of Ovid’s farewell cycle (love for the woman and the poetry that derives from it).
