La Spagna di Paragone Letteratura (1950-75)
abstract
This study investigates the presence of Spanish culture in Paragone Letteratura, one of the most important Italian literary journals of the second half of the 20th century. Paragone stands out for its declared attention to the present, as it can be read in the programmatic first issue, as well as for the polished analytical approach proposed by its contributors, who share a similar cultural background and critical thinking. As such, it imposes itself as an essential starting point to explore the presence of Spanish literature in Italy and the related critical analysis during the final 25 years of Franco’s dictatorship.
