La metodologia cooperativa come risorsa per il CLIL

Abstract

The essay combines two methodologies used in language teaching: CLIL and cooperative learning (CL). Starting from some key aspects of CLIL to facilitate language learning (i.e., the influence on the emotional and cognitive dimensions and the importance of the metacognitive dimension), the paper presents the general framework of the ‘social mediation’ methodologies. Afterwards, it focuses on CL and possible convergences between CL and CLIL. The aim of the paper is to show how the two methodologies can be effectively integrated within the humanistic and communicative frame of educational linguistics.
