Abstract

Some recent evolutions in the processes of heritisation are to be retraced trying to explore the connections between environmental and cultural policies. When looking at interna- tional conventions and declarations, as at concrete field projects, in the era of web, tourism and globalisation, the uses of cultural heritage change, the borders open, national policies and their paradigms face the broad work in progress issued by the national ratifications of the international conventions. The process of heritage-making shows its multiple dimensions: political, administra- tive, socio-economic and cultural, environmental, scientific, digital, among others. This change includes also the role of scientific communities, between expertise and participation, sustain- ability, citizenship and cultural rights.
