From System to Network
An Analysis of Evolution of the Organizational Model of Italian Cultural Institutes in the World

Abstract
After the first working session of the General State on relevant issues such as the promotion of the Italian language in the world, it is priority to reflect on nature and characteristics of the Italian Institutes of Culture (hereafter IICs). Therefore, we first describe the phenomenon and subsequently identify useful strategies for the diffusion of Italian language and culture abroad.
