Valore e significato dei dialetti nella storia linguistica del Veneto
Abstract
Marcato offers a diachronic series of documentary and literary sources (13th-20th century) with which she briefly shows that meaning and value of linguistic variety of the Veneto depends on a long history; moreover she dem- onstrates that their current strength derives from the tranquillità linguistica («linguistic calm») produced by the condition of variety spoken in a cultural context that Venice still guarantees.
