Abstract
Lepschy concentrates his own remarks more on those elements associating «language» to «dialects» than on their being in contrast, because he is convinced of the fact that the opposition between the Italian language and dialects is an «illusory device», while Italian culture and civilisation can be conceived only if they coexist.
