Una silloge poetica di Elisabetta Caminer Turra
Abstract
This is a notice of an autograph manuscript by Elisabetta Caminer Turra (1751-1796), currently preserved at the Civica Biblioteca ‘Giovanni Comisso’ in Treviso. Previously known and cited by Vittorio Malamani (1860-1934), but overlooked in more recent studies on the Venetian writer, it contains a collection of poems by Caminer herself and her correspondents (among them, of particular interest are some by Francesco Gritti). The figure of Caminer is presented in a new light, and the broader picture of Venetian culture during the Enlightenment era is enriched.
