Bice Levi Minzi (Bice Rossi Minzi) e l’Esposizione Internazionale Femminile di Torino del 1913

Abstract

In the exhibition at Ca’ Pesaro Palace in 1913 there were only tree female artists: Adriana Bisi Fabbri, Alis Levi and Elisabetta Scopinich Trefurth. Among these there wasn’t Bice Levi Minzi (1885-1947), wife of the painter Gino Rossi. Even though she considered herself not an occasional painter, Bice Levi Minzi never exhibited in the halls of the Opera Bevilacqua La Masa. Instead, she took part in some exhibitions of international importance (especially in the two-year period 1912-1913) like the 1912 Salon d’Automne in Paris and the 1913 International Women’s Exhibition in Turin.
