Edited book | «A mari usque ad mare»
Chapter | In viaggio con l’eclettismo
Abstract
The author shapes the path of study shared with Professor Macchiarella. Their collaboration started in Armenia and the writer recalls the study of the techniques which were historically used to minimize the effects of earthquakes; all this without forgetting the work done to create an online database for the typological comparison of the oldest Armenian churches. In the second part of the text, the essayist focuses on Albania as well as on the research missions held until that time. She has shared with professor Macchiarella the will to build up the first open forum on Mesopotam and Rusan: in the essay, she explains how that work drove her to study the relationship between tourism and monuments’ conservation.
