Insegnare le lingue speciali ad apprendenti adulti italofoni di russo come lingua straniera all’università
Ricognizione e analisi critica dei manuali moderni esistenti (2000-23)
Abstract
This paper aims to provide the first comprehensive survey and critical analysis of modern Russian as a foreign language (RFL) textbooks aimed at teaching special languages to Italian-speaking adults in the university context. Its goal is to identify general orientations and trends as well as strengths and areas in need of improvement in special language materials. The sample consists of 26 RFL textbooks (2000-23) for language levels A1-C1. The analysis shows that, in general, these textbooks tend to focus on the study of special languages in business, journalism, and some technical or scientific fields. Finally, positive and negative aspects of the sample are highlighted.
