Le dimore dell’esistere nella narrativa di Andrea Bajani

Abstract

The essay sets out to interpret Andrea Bajani’s novel, Il libro delle case (2021), from both a formal and semantic point of view, examining not only the synergies that exist between different literary genres, from the Bildungsroman to the family novel, from the ideological pamphlet to the confessional, from the diary to the reportage, but also the thematic network that brings them together. Revealing is the voice attributed to the actress Tartaruga, when checked against that of the other characters.
