Abstract
Il presente volume, risultato del Terzo Incontro della Turcologia Italiana tenutosi a Venezia nel 2022, è dedicato al turcologo Giampiero Bellingeri e rende omaggio agli interessi di ricerca a lui cari. Oltre a un saggio scritto dallo studioso, il volume raccoglie tredici capitoli offerti da chi lo ha incontrato, seguito o accompagnato lungo il suo percorso di ricerca e insegnamento. Vi vengono analizzati, in particolare, i rapporti tra il mondo turco-ottomano e l’Europa in vari periodi storici, dal XV secolo alla contemporaneità. Diverse discipline, letterarie, storiche, linguistiche, sociologiche e artistiche, concorrono a descrivere i molteplici scambi interculturali che caratterizzano il ricco rapporto tra Europa e ‘Orienti’.
