dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this research is the assessment of the narrative and linguistic abilities of a group of deaf young adults (mean age 19;9), through the administration of a storytelling test named Frog, Where Are You? (Mayer 1969). The participants were asked to produce the story in written Italian and in Italian Sign Language (LIS). Narrative productions have been transcribed, coded, and analysed. We decided to use the analysis method proposed by Padovani and Mestucci (2015) and the comparison between productions in written Italian and productions in LIS showed that results were better in LIS than in written Italian.
