Abstract
The Aesthetics of Emptiness: this is the title of the series of concerts, master classes, conferences, exhibitions and guided tours dedicated to 'emptiness' as the heart of Japanese aesthetics, which took place in Venice from 21 to 24 February 2022. And even in the music of the concert Anche la notte profuma di gelsomino, masterfully interpreted by the duo formed by Chisato Yamamoto on violin and Cecilia Franchini on piano, one could perceive the concept of absence in music, which is not mere silence but a more intimate, nuanced and elusive sensation.
