I bisogni linguistici ed interculturali degli studenti di italiano L2 in contesto universitario
Un’indagine presso l’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia
The paper presents a survey aimed at investigating the linguistic and intercultural needs of international students at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Using an online questionnaire, data were collected on three areas: linguistic background of the informants, experience as Italian language learners, academic experience at Ca’ Foscari. The survey involved 222 participants. After outlining the context of the survey and the research design, the paper discusses the main results in the three areas above mentioned and provides suggestions for implementing Italian language courses which take into consideration the linguistic and intercultural needs of international students at Ca’ Foscari.
