Abstract
Presents the migratory experience of Brazilians in Portugal and the United States putting in Brazilian narratives relief in post-crisis period 2008. In this period along with increased enforcement action by immigration agents in the United States there was an expansion in the sense of fear and insecurity undocumented. This situation had as an ingredient in both destinations, the economic crisis and with it the loss of jobs and, for many, the return to Brazil.
