Abstract
Vedono qui la luce i contributi presentati nel corso di due giornate di studio organizzate dall’Unità veronese del Progetto PRIN 2022 Aeschylean Tragedy. Text, Hypotexts, Performance. Nei percorsi intrecciati che compongono il volume si indagano aspetti filologici, letterari e drammaturgici dell’opera eschilea. Il testo, la sua costituzione e le sue interpretazioni, gli ipotesti, la natura performativa di questa poesia per la scena, sono i temi attorno a cui ruotano i nove contributi di giovani studiose e studiosi. L’obiettivo condiviso è stato quello di confrontarsi su problemi esegetici, di esaminare i legami dei drammi di Eschilo con la cultura del suo tempo, con gli altri tragici e gli altri generi (in particolare l’epos e la poesia lirica contemporanea e successiva), di indagarne la dimensione mitologica e teatrale calata nella performance anche nel rapporto con gli spettatori, nonché la fortuna interpretativa.
