Gestione del conflitto nell’ambito della mediazione linguistico-culturale
Un approccio nonviolento
Abstract
The paper explores the application of nonviolent conflict management strategies in intercultural linguistic mediation, focusing on attitudes as a key element in conflict escalation. Drawing on the theories of Gandhi, Galtung, and Patfoort, it analyzes case studies and responses collected during the 2024 National Meeting of Cultural Mediators within the Italian National Anti-Trafficking System. The study highlights the impact of ‘trigger words’ and proposes linguistic training and nonviolence-based methods to foster constructive conflict transformation.
