Review | Twenty Years of Cold Peace in Bosnia Herzegovina
Chapter | La pace fredda: problemi e prospettive
Abstract
The greatest achievement of the Dayton Agreement in Bosnia Herzegovina has been the last 20 years of peace. However, old problems are still there and old nationalistic parties get stronger and stronger. The most effective Instruments to tackle these problems are: education (a reform of the school system), culture (implementation of art, music, cinema, sports) and the integration in the EU. In one sentence: Treat Bosnia as a normal country. This process would also help EU dealing with the Eastern Europe and Middle East crisis, the migratory flows and the fight against ISIS.
