abstract

The author comments a recent decision of the Court of Venice summarizing the status quo of civil liability in the Italian legal system, focusing in particular on non-patrimonial damages caused by defamatory accusations. The trial represents an exemplary case of defamatory judgement, as of the completely unfair behaviour of the suitor.
