dc.description.abstract	Cortázar’s book, Prosa del observatorio, is based on images, as shown by the photographies included in the text. It is a work written to decipher a poetics: from the image of Moebius’s ring, to the eels – that create a dynamic parallelism – or mixing scientific excerpts with extremely poetical sentences. The images allow a definition of the hole in the network of time, a ‘between’ described as the possibility of attacking the flanks of normalcy and the establishment, to proclaim revolution and rebelliousness.

abstract

Cortázar’s book, Prosa del observatorio, is based on images, as shown by the photographies included in the text. It is a work written to decipher a poetics: from the image of Moebius’s ring, to the eels – that create a dynamic parallelism – or mixing scientific excerpts with extremely poetical sentences. The images allow a definition of the hole in the network of time, a ‘between’ described as the possibility of attacking the flanks of normalcy and the establishment, to proclaim revolution and rebelliousness.
