L’inclusione universitaria di studentesse e studenti con disabilità o disturbi specifici dell’apprendimento presso l’Università di Verona
Abstract
The paper presents the activities of the Inclusion Unit (UO Inclusione), and the topic of university inclusion of students with disabilities or SLDs, at the University of Verona. After a reference to the relevant value assumptions, and to the University’s programmatic and policy documents, the tasks of the Inclusion Unit and the characteristics of the users are described, also relying on statistical data. Mention is also made of the network of relationships and collaborations with local organisations (public authorities, associations, etc.) active in the field of protection of people with disabilities or with SLDs. Further on, an overview of the individual services provided by the Inclusion Unit is outlined, focusing on the most innovative ones. Finally, the author presents some reflections deriving from his professional experience.
