Hobbes' translation of Thuc. 2.47-54 (Athens' Plague) was reprinted by Thomas Sprat in 1665 – see Sprat 1665. Hobbes' complete translation was revised and republished with a new introduction by David Grene in 1959 and again in 1989. A further reprint appeared in 1975, edited by Richard Schlatter, who also provided a new introduction – see Schlatter 1975.
