Abstract
The topic ‘cultural values’ is analized from a specific sociological and anthropological point of view without entering into ethic or metaphysical questions, inadequate in the given context. The essay aims to propose a definition of the concept ‘cultural value’ based on several literary essays and gives examples for such values in the german speaking countries.
