Research Article | Communicative Events: Intercultural Communication Between Italians and Germans
Abstract
The aim of this article is to investigate the importance of Cultural Knowledge related to communicative events when learning or teaching a second or a foreign language. This will be especially carried out through some examples of cultural differences between the italian speaking community and the german speaking one concerning specific situations. Those examples are useful, even though not sufficient, in order to stress the necessity to persist in developing such intercultural skills when aiming at communication.
