The Church Slavonic Language of the Ukrainian Recension as Reflected in International Slavic Studies
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the Ukrainian recension of the Church Slavonic language. In international contributions to Slavic studies, usually no information on this recension is given, although Ukrainian scholarly studies have already provided a convincing outline of this variety and its history. The article argues that to ignore the existence of the Ukrainian recension of the Church Slavonic language is illogical.
