Abstract
The years 1919-20 were fundamental for the development of the renovated exhibitions held at Ca’ Pesaro Gallery and started a crucial period for Italian art. The dialogue between Nino Barbantini and Margherita Grassini Sarfatti suggests new considerations on the proceedings of art criticism at that age and on the struggle for power undertaken by various groups and cultural centers in the peninsula.
