Abstract

Analyzes the texts of writers of the early twentieth century on the migration process from Italy to Argentina and how this narrative is marked by an identity construction. It proposes understand how the migration experience is a phenomenon that we witness through collective memory and that relates to the narration of history and individual expressed in recall reports of memory. Appropriates the production of a new generation of writers and writers dealing with the role that European immigration has in contemporary Argentina imagination, a reflection that seeks to interpret the past to understand the present. And so, understand their own identity and that of others.
