Fonti e archivi digitali per lo studio della Resistenza: stato dell’arte, limiti e opportunità
Abstract
The digitization of archival sources related to the Italian Resistance has significantly increased since the 1990s, leading to the development of numerous digital projects. While these initiatives enhance accessibility and foster research democratization, they also present methodological challenges, including information overload and decontextualization. This paper examines major digital archives and databases, assessing their impact on historical research and public memory. It highlights benefits and limitations of digitization, emphasizing the need for standardized approaches to ensure interoperability and user‑friendly consultation tools.
