Abstract

As part of the Food and S.T.O.N.E.S. project, a WebGIS platform was developed to enhance collaboration among diverse research groups. This platform enables researchers to view, edit, and contribute data, perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses, and export results in various formats. This paper delves into the architecture of the WebGIS designed for the project. The first section discusses the platform’s design, implementation, and the benefits offered. The second section provides a detailed examination of the data sheet created for written sources, with an in-depth discussion of the selected fields.
