Chapter | Gli eventi comunicativi
Abstract
Chapter 5 is devoted to a series of communicative events, a series of real ‘settings’ made by environment and circumstances in which the interactions among speakers of different languages take place. These interactions involve all aspects of the intercultural communicative model: non-verbal codes, linguistic interactions, cultural values and relational abilities. Actually, intercultural communication occurs in international business meetings or negotiations, happenings, parties, sport and leisure events. In such situations it is extremely significant to know how to help speakers. In Chapter 5 each aspect is credited, in order to provide a useful referring model for efficient interaction inside the intercultural communicative sphere.
