A proposito di Pindaro (fr. 342 Maehler) e Niceta Eugeniano
Abstract
The paper deals with Pindar, fr. 342 Maehler, as preserved in a dodecasyllable poem by Nicetas Eugenianus (twelfth century). The Byzantine poet may not have read Pindar’s dithyrambs directly, but rather another work that preserved some Pindaric material mixed with other sources. A clue to this can be found in Suda α 1941 Adler.
