Abstract
The chapter analyzes the role of associations, cooperatives, foundations and consortia in business network contracts, highlighting their diffusion, characteristics and contribution to the growth of the entrepreneurial system through collaborative models. The data shows a high participation of the reference cluster in service sector, with a growing impact on innovation. The Observatory’s surveys and case studies confirm the evolution of networks towards mixed models, where associations mainly act as promoters and coordinators, aiming to strengthen relationships, visibility, reputation and opportunities for organizational and economic growth of companies in business network contracts.
