Rilevare dati sul web: la cassetta degli attrezzi 2.0
abstract
The issues related to data quality and the manner through which the web 2.0 intervenes in the planning of the research with new detection tools will be addressed by comparing a series of studies, in which were used several investigative tools online. The goal is to examine, through a new interpretive lens, the tools born via the web 2.0: can they be considered as new forms of investigation or are they a mere continuation of the traditional instruments of the researcher's toolbox? The results are discussed in the light of different devices to understand in what contexts they can be adopted successfully. Eventually, a new organization of data collection instruments online will be discussed, particularly focusing on the quality of the gures and facts, revealing both the strong points and the weaknesses, which depends on the context under study in order to highlight the best practices to be adopted for a real social-health integration.
