Abstract
We want to remember the substantial experience through which Andrea Zanzotto takes on the composition in dialect language, in the sense of a recall from the deep, from the letter of July 1976, by which Federico Fellini asked the poet to write two pieces to ‘dub’ two scenes of his Casanova. In this research the most important elements are the clichés – a key word in Zanzotto’s poetry – of the eighteenth-century Venetian language (essentially of Goldoni’s type) and of Ruzante’ Paduan dialect, even to find our own spoken language and then contaminate it differently, between a dubbing for the ‘cine’ and a ‘teatro dei campi’.
