Research Article | Digital Storytelling for an Intercultural Linguistic Education
Abstract
Digital Storytelling PROVED to be a powerful teaching and learning tool that develops several language skills as well as technology, socio-relational and cultural-communicative competences. Moreover, it enhances students’ interest and motivation, thus facilitating memorisation. In this paper, we will shed light on the advantages of using this tool in language learning taking into consideration part of the required learner’s skills presented in the 5th chapter of the CEFR. The aim of this work is to propose the Digital Storytelling, seen as a process rather than a product, to develop and promote an intercultural language education irrespective of the context – FL, L2 – and the language level.
