Abstract

As regards the complexity of the syntax, the textual and intertextual richness connected to the acuteness of the thoughts expressed, Kierkegaard’s philosophical-literary production can be considered as a work of ‘linguistic architecture’. In this article, I investigate some of the most significant conceptual places within Søren Kierkegaards Skrifter, in particular those that evoke a dialogue with a ‘landscape’ literally understood as a land-skab, the creation of a linguistic-literary country not far from the Kierkegardian Otteveiskrog, the ‘Corner of the Eight Paths’ described in In vino veritas: a place of which no map shows the exact location, but which can only be found by those who look for it carefully.
